Half now, half at launch.

You get an invoice for $498.50 to start the rest of the site, and the balance is due only when the finished site is live and you have signed off on it.

My name is Itamar Nery. I am a journalist by training and I have spent years building websites and running communications for small businesses and independent artists. Loy Websites is the web arm of Loy Press, the studio I run.

I work alone, which is exactly why this costs $997 instead of $6,000. There is no sales team to pay for, no account manager passing your message along, and no office. When you email, you are emailing the person who will build your site.

I am based in Brazil and I work with businesses across the United States. Everything happens in writing, which keeps the price low, the record clear and your time your own.

Because most of what agencies charge for is not design. It is discovery calls, proposals, account managers, offices and retainers. I removed all of it. The site you get is built by hand, from scratch, by one person who works fast because the process never stops to schedule a meeting. The price is low for a reason you can verify, not because the work is cheap.

No, and that is deliberate. Working entirely over email is what keeps this at $997 and lets me deliver in a week. It also means every decision, price and deadline is written down, so nothing depends on what either of us remembers from a phone call. If you would rather talk it through live, I am genuinely not the right fit, and an agency will serve you better.

No. I rebuild your homepage first and send you a live link to look at. Only if you like it do we go ahead, and only then does the first invoice go out. If it is not for you, you owe nothing and you keep the concept.

You own it, completely. The site goes on your own hosting account, under your own domain, and you get every file. There is no license, no platform you are tied to and no monthly payment. If you never speak to me again, your website keeps working.

Seven days from the moment you approve the homepage, assuming you send your content and photos promptly. The homepage concept itself usually reaches you within two to three days of your first email.

We use what already exists: your current site, your Google Business listing, your social media. I do not invent claims about your business, ever. If something is genuinely missing, I will tell you what to send and keep it to the shortest possible list.

By standard bank transfer to a US account, the same way you would pay any domestic supplier. You get a proper invoice with the scope and both due dates on it before any money moves.
